The courses are suitable for both men and women and for all those with an interest in personal and planetary transformation.
The centre is totally dedicated to facilitating personal and planetary transformation through its powerful training programs, all of which also provide unique opportunities for rapid personal development, soul growth and spiritual progress.
The Medicine Woman Centre for Shamanic Studies™ provides sacred training pathways that are a pure embodiment of the natural processes that perfectly replicate the ancient natural order that traditional healing and shamanic training have always taken. In true age-old shamanic tradition all Medicine Woman training programs include working directly with specific teacher plants.
All Medicine Woman programs include working actively and co-operatively with teacher plant essences, nature, plant intelligence and the dynamic power of the metaphysical realm.
These ancient sacred pathways restored to their original pristine state and aligned with the requirements of the Aquarian age are made available in the 21st century for the first time. These sacred pathways are where powerful teacher plant spirits and Mother Nature take on their traditional and rightful role of teachers, wise elders and initiators.
These 21st century teachings have their foundations deep in the universal ancient sacred earth wisdom tradition. The teachings in the Medicine Woman program take the form of a cohesive, integrated structured pathway and is ideally suited for those who wish to embark upon a formal path of training in the tradition of the ‘old ones’ or in the ancient ways.
The Medicine Woman training program is totally universal in its development and application. The Medicine Woman Rite of the Six Moons© and the Medicine Woman Apprenticeship© which includes the Medicine Woman Certificate and Diploma in Shamanic Studies use the dynamic interactive functions of the world wide web and can be accessed and undertaken in any part of the world.
FRANCHELLE OFSOSKÉ-WYBER - FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
"And now we find the Goddess re-emerging from the forests and mountains, bringing us hope for the future, returning us to our most ancient human roots" Maria Gimbutas
Founder and director of the Medicine Woman Centre for Shamanic Studies™ Franchelle Ofsoské-Wyber - medicine woman, master shaman, healer and sage - began her extra- ordinary life’s work after receiving her medicine name ‘Buffalo Woman Returns’ when she was seven years old.
Franchelle is a New Zealander of Russian and Native American descent. Known as a matakite - one who sees with the healing eye; a genuine matatuhi – prophet; and a learner/teacher tohuna - keeper of the ancient secrets in Maori culture, Franchelle has been fully initiated into the Kura Huna – the mystery school of the New Zealand Maori.
Chosen to carry the spirit connections and healing mantles for many ancient shamanic lineages, she has been traditionally trained by some of the last indigenous custodians of advanced shamanic healing and magical practices. These practices are the pure expression of the original primordial shamanic healing and magical tradition. Internationally recognised as a master shaman and modern day medicine woman, she has appeared in a number of international television programs and documentaries on sacred plant medicine, shamanism, spirituality and natural healing.
She is the author of the book ‘The Sacred Plant Medicine of Aotearoa’ and is the director and co-founder of First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand. In 2008 Franchelle was awarded the NZ Health Industry Distinguished Services Award ‘for pioneering, developing and establishing NZ native flower and plant essences for holistic healing’.™
The Medicine Woman Centre for Shamanic Studies™ is dedicated to providing specialist training programs for personal and planetary transformation through working actively, powerfully and cooperatively with the metaphysical realm and the intelligence of nature.
