Astrea has a First Class Bsc(Hons) in Botany (Massey University 1984) and spent 25 years as Scientific Editor of New Zealand's national scientific journals. She has been associated with First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand since 2004 and has studied and experienced many health and healing therapies including homeopathy and rongoa Maori. Astrea brings her passion for New Zealand plants into her courses, taking students into the bush at the Mangatarere Lodge in Carterton, Wairarapa and also holds classes in Wellington city.

Gill Williamson - Tutor

Gill's relationship with The First Light Flower Essences began in early 2006, drawn by her love of Nature. Since then she has developed a deep connection with the Essences and brings to her workshops a depth of knowledge and understanding of working with the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand®. Gill is a motivated and intuitive tutor. As well as being a First Light Flower Essence Practitioner and teaching the First Light Essences of New Zealand® workshops, Gill also clears land and buildings of negative energies, bringing in the First Light Flower Essences to support this work.

Kay Lloyd has been researching, practising and teaching Flower Essence Therapy in Christchurch, New Zealand for many years. Kay is enthusiastic about presenting opportunities for students to restore their own spiritual vitality through understanding, acknowledging and encouraging our special connection to nature and nature's healing aspects. Kay believes that the unique resonance of the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® bring these natural connections to light in a pure and clear way. Kay is very happy to be part of the First Light Flowers Essences of New Zealand® teaching team. She is willing to travel if students would like courses to be held in their city. Minako Hama – Tutor
Minako first started complementary therapy work in Tokyo in 1995 and has since taught many students. She is also an Aromatherapy teacher and Reflexologist.
