Ofsoské-Wyber
Franchelle Ofsoské-Wyber is a New
Zealander of Native American Cherokee descent. She was born with
highly developed clairvoyant and healing gifts and comes from a
lineage of medicine men and woman.
Internationally recognized as
a shaman and modern day medicine woman she has appeared on a number
of international television programs and documentaries focusing
on sacred plant medicine, shamanism and natural healing.
In 2008 Franchelle was awarded the New Zealand Health Industry Distinguished Services Award for Research and Development. This award was in recognition for over 30 years of research into the nature power of New Zealand and for pioneering, developing and establishing New Zealand native flower and plant essences to facilitate holistic healing.
Highly respected in her field and considered a world authority on the sacred plant medicine of Aotearoa, she is the author of 'The Sacred Plant Medicine of Aotearoa - Healing with New Zealand native flower, fern, tree, seed and plant essences'.
Franchelle is described in Maoridom
by various highly respected kaumatua and traditional guardians or
keepers of the old wisdom as being a genuine ‘matatuhi' -
one who can read what is written in the wind’ and a ‘matakite',
one who sees with the healing or the third eye.
A custodian of the secret shamanic
healing techniques for her lineage, she is unique in her ability
to directly access the collective pool of ancient earth wisdom and
to access universal mind at the 12th plane level of indigenous memory.
Specially chosen to carry the
spirit connections and healing mantle for various ancient shamanic
lineages she works to facilitate the longevity of these closely
guarded ancient plant lore teachings and associated healing techniques.
She was subsequently traditionally trained by indigenous elders
from various countries including New Zealand in advanced shamanic
healing practices which are a pure expression of the primordial
shamanic healing tradition.
Extensively trained in rongoa
and the traditional and sacred plant lore of Aotearoa and highly
attuned to the devic realm she is able to communicate directly with
the ancient people and the 'atua' or gods and goddesses of Aotearoa.
Gifted with the ability to link
into the healing vibration or ‘song’ of a plant Franchelle
was also trained in Bach flower remedies and herbal medicine in
1975. She has been making and working extensively with her own New
Zealand native flower essences since 1985.
She has pioneered the development
of flower essences made from ancient species of native ferns and
trees from deep within the ancient forests of New Zealand. These
essences made from individual flowers, ancient species of trees
such as the Rimu and the Kauri and New Zealand ferns – address
the specific healing issues of the 21st century. These essences
have all been made in accordance with the ancient sacred protocols
and processes necessary to make ‘sacred plant medicine
Franchelle has devoted her gifts
to assisting others and works closely with indigenous wisdom keepers
through out the world for the principle of universal healing.
Since 1995 Franchelle has worked
principally with close friend and colleague, Dr. Rangimarie Turuki
Arikirangi Rose Pere C.B.E. C.M. highly respected Maori elder, Tohuna
and ancient wisdom keeper. In 1999 at a special televised new millennium
dawn ceremony organised by Dr Pere an 'official' call was sent out
asking the native plants and the nature power of New Zealand to
provide the people of the world with the healing necessary for the
unprecendented challenges facing humanity in the 21st century.
This call was answered and the
work was blessed and in 2002 Dr. Rangimarie Turuki Arikirangi Rose
Pere C.B.E C.M. in her role as official spiritual guardian and patron
in perpetuity, gathered together with co-creators Franchelle and
her husband Anthony to officially launch First Light Flower Essences
of New Zealand - N.Z's first range of native flower essences.
Franchelle is a sought after
presenter teacher and presenter who transmits the passion and power
of working cooperatively with spirit, nature and the ancient healing
tool of energy medicine for powerful shamanic, magical and healing
outcomes.
She has a busy teaching schedule
and is available in private practice at her home in Titirangi, Auckland
where she works with New Zealand native flower and plant essences
as the core modality in her work as a 21st century medicine woman
and shamanic healer.
